Site Management

Assistant Site Manager

The assistant site manager is responsible for supervising and monitoring the various aspects of the construction project at the site.

Responsibilities include:
  • Supervising specific trades at the jobsite.
  • Inspecting different aspects of construction for code and plans compliance, quality assurance.
  • Ordering materials and equipment.
  • Reviewing payment applications from subcontractors.
  • Managing a small crew of employees
  • Coordinating between subcontractors at the site.
Requirements:
  • 2 years hands-on experience in site management.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Project Management

Assistant Project Manager

The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for the coordination of project requirements between the field and the office, and supporting the Project Manager.

Responsibilities include:
  • Providing support in creating and managing project budget.
  • Monitoring expenses to ensure project progresses on schedule and within the prescribed budget.
  • Assisting in qualifying contractors by reviewing bids and related documents.
  • Managing project team by providing direction and leadership.
  • Facilitating project take-offs and estimates.
Requirements:
  • Four-year Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in architecture, engineering or related area.
  • 2 years of related experience and training.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • CAD experience is a plus.

Quality Control Department

Quality Control Professional

Artimus is seeking a qualified professional to assist in the Quality Control Department of our team. Applicants should have at least 2 years experience in architecture, engineering or construction and should be eager to take on new responsibilities and gain knowledge of the construction industry.

Applicants must be able to read and understand a set of construction documents. Knowledge of construction, AutoCAD, Excel and Shop Drawings is strongly preferred. Applicants must be able to communicate effectively with the architects, engineers and site managers.

Responsibilities include:
  • Working with the project and site managers to coordinate information between the field, the architect, the engineers, and other consultants.
  • Inspect work at the site to assure that it is being built as per the construction documents.
  • Research materials and installation requirements for the products used in the project.
Requirements:
  • Ability to read a set of construction documents and shop drawings and understand how they translate to the field.
  • Knowing how to read construction schedules, calculate and understand material take-offs, and create scopes of work for different trades.

Construction Management Intern

Throughout our team, Artimus is always looking for qualified individuals interested in developing their skills in construction management and administration. Paid internship will consist of work at the construction site and in the main office.

Assistant Purchasing Manager

Artimus currently has a purchasing department serving multiple sites through the city. The goal of this department is to lead the sites in sourcing materials and resources for Artimus and its sub-contractors in order to save them money and time. The Assistant Purchasing Manager would be involved in Contract management, Material Pricing and Purchasing , Invoicing tracking, Job Bidding , Inventory management, and scheduling among other tasks.
