Ken Haron, President

Mr. Haron received a M.S. and B.S. degree in Statistics from the Hebrew University, in Jerusalem. Mr. Haron has over three decades of experience in the planning, development, and financing of affordable housing. As president of Artimus, Mr. Haron implemented a two-pronged strategy for success: engage the neighborhood and city agencies; and allow subcontractors to participate in Artimus’s accomplishments. Artimus moved from being tangentially related to the process to being part of the process itself and since then has managed and developed in excess of $500 million of residential and commercial properties. Mr. Haron has completed, through acquisition, the development and construction of over 100 projects.

Eytan Benyamin, Chairman

Mr. Benyamin has been a member of the Artimus team since 1994 and became partner in 1995. Eytan set his sights on updating operations while sustaining the principles Artimus had developed throughout the years. Mr. Benyamin’s contributions propelled Artimus to undertake much larger projects, directly contributing to the ambitious community-wide restoration of the Manhattan Valley Neighborhood and the Frederick Douglass Boulevard Corridor. Mr. Benyamin has a B.S from Tel-Aviv University and an MBA from Baruch College. Prior to working with Artimus he had served as an air-force commander for the IDF.

Barry Gurvitch, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Gurvitch joined Artimus in 2000 as a project manager and was quickly promoted to Chief Architectural Officer. Mr. Gurvitch's extensive knowledge of project management has been essential in developing Artimus’s field staff. He fosters full accountability and responsibility for every project manager and every project, while simultaneously establishing a network of endless support throughout the company. As a licensed architect, with an extensive knowledge of building mechanics and structure, he oversees all construction projects from plan schematics to final punch lists. Mr. Gurvitch has a B.A., as well as a degree in Architecture from Pratt Institute. Prior to working with Artimus he owned and operated his own business.

Yoav Haron, Partner

Mr. Haron joined Artimus in 2001, has a B.S. in Management from Binghamton University, and a master’s degree from Columbia University. After becoming a partner in 2003 he focused on further developing the company’s infrastructure. Implementing new technologies while utilizing his management background preparing Artimus for the larger projects. Prior to working with Artimus he had served as a property manager for K & R Realty Management, and as a Portfolio Analyst at GE Capital.

Amnon Solomon, Chief Construction Officer

Mr. Solomon has a B.S and a degree in architecture from the City University of New York. Mr. Solomon has been with Artimus since 2003, starting as an Assistant Project Manager he was promoted to Project Manager after only one year. By his fourth year with Artimus, Mr. Solomon was promoted to Senior Site Manager where he was able to implement companywide the systems he perfected when running his own projects. Within a few years, Mr. Solomon was named Chief of Construction Operations where he is responsible for all aspects of Artimus construction processes. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Solomon held management positions in the IDF and the Israeli Airline for 20 years and has over a decade of experience in the construction industry.

Evan Kashanian, Chief Project Coordination Officer

Mr. Kashanian graduated from Binghamton University with a BA in Urban Planning and an adjunct in Business Management. In 2001, he joined the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development, working as a Project Manager in the disposition of city owned land. In 2004, Mr Kashanian brought his knowledge of real estate and affordable housing from HPD to Artimus. He has worked as an APM as well as multiple roles in project coordination by managing relationships with city agencies, directing the pre-development process, and managing the completion of all projects through to Final Certificate of Occupancy. Mr. Kashanian now serves as the Chief Project Coordination Officer where he runs firms Project Coordination initiatives.

Ronen Haron, Partner

Mr. Haron joined Artimus as an Assistant Project Manager in 2007, successfully completing a number of projects while implementing new project management and financial technologies. Mr. Haron has served as the Vice President of Finance and Chief Operating Officer where he oversaw all organizational operations in construction and development. Prior to joining Artimus, he worked at Reuters as a Market Researcher and was an Associate at Merrill Lynch. Mr. Haron has a BA from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Columbia University.

Dan Haron, Chief Operating Officer

Dan Haron joined Artimus in 2012, in charge of all property and asset management operations. He oversaw the company’s expansion when its portfolio under management nearly tripled. Mr. Haron then migrated to work more closely with construction operations, working closely with the CEO and CCO to ensure timely and on-budget project completion. Prior to joining Artimus, Mr. Haron was the principal of Darien High School in Darien CT. He holds a business degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania as well as a master’s degree in educational psychology from Columbia University

Phil Mayer, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Mayer joined Artimus in 2022 to help manage financial operations and strategy across the company’s development, construction, and property management activities. He previously spent 10 years as the CFO of a leading sports agency, and has prior experience in management consulting, investment banking, and venture capital. He holds a BS from University of Pennsylvania‘s Wharton School and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business
